Sailing

Sailing is part of the Åland Sport Week and will take place in the waters around Västra Hamnen.

Women on Water is an emerging concept that has gained significant strength in recent years in Europe. These competitions have managed to gather the most prominent female crews throughout the region, and ÅSS aims to uphold the flag high in women's sailing as well. 
ÅSS's J/70 boats will be used, and we hope for participation from sailing teams across Europe. 

The competition itself is open to 18 teams, and registration will open shortly.
